Home for the night - an actual castle!!

Yes, an actual castle - how friggin exciting! Castello di Valenzano's origins date back to 1434 but today it is used for weddings (there is a church on the grounds) and events, and of course a bnb. It's obviously proving popular because there were a lot of people staying. The panoramic views across the valley were spectacular and we enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant.
