    WOW! Siargao, Philippines

    March 25, 2018 on the Philippines ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

The archipelago of the Philippines is made up of roughly 7,107 islands and Siargao Island is, for me, my most favorite and the most travelled island by locals and foreign tourists.

This uncharted island is full of wonders, best known as the surfing mecca of the south. The well known spot is the Cloud 9 where surfers flood the beachlines to witness and experience the best waves of the Pacific Ocean.

Also, you should not miss the natural tidal pool of Magpupungko. The bluish-green waters will definitely takes your breath away and you can't resist to take a plunge. Next on the list is the Sugba Lagoon. This mysterious water basin is surrounded by lush forest of mangroves and towering rock walls. A trip here in not complete without the most exhilarating jump into the deep blue-green waters. Lastly, you can't away the island hopping tour exploring three major islets of Siargao, the Guyam, Daku and my favorite Naked Island. Those crystal clear waters and white sand bars are the highlights of the tour.

Siargao is the perfect summer escape for me. I love the place, the food and the hospitality of the locals.
