Today's theme was roses and pines. Just about every time we stopped there were wild roses in view. After we passed through the cow pastured we entered pine forest.
A pine ridge

Much of the last 2/3 of the trail followed a pine ridge populated with wild roses and again multiple wildflowers in bloom.
