Drove up to Hartside summit (altitude 1903 feet) in Cumbria. Impressive views but cold (2 degrees) and windy.
Also a memorial bench for someone with 2 crash helmets carved into it.

Time to head home after a lovely weeks stay
ResenärThe light rain stopped and the sun broke out from the clouds after we came out of the indoor museum, so the walk back to the car was less uncomfortable than walking round the ruins.
