Visiting the Roman fort Vindolanda today, interesting but the cold wind and light rain don’t help us appreciate it fully.
TravelerThe light rain stopped and the sun broke out from the clouds after we came out of the indoor museum, so the walk back to the car was less uncomfortable than walking round the ruins.
