We made it to Scotland!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We have finally made it to Scotland! After an early start of refilling and recharging we got on the road and started our 3 and a bit hour drive to Scotland. We could tell we were getting close when the landscape started changing from flat dry land to more hilly green land. It was a breath of fresh air and we were so excited to be entering into a new Country!

First stop in Scotland… Edinburgh and wow what a place it is!! Standing on the other side of the river looking back at the old buildings and castle, it honestly didn’t look real! It’s crazy to think that these building were built 100s and 100s of years ago and they are still standing so proud and beautiful, it is truely magnificent.

We strolled down the Royal Mike whilst also visiting the Scott Monument, National Galleries and taking in picturesque views of Edinburgh Castle sitting proud above the city. To finish off the day we hiked to the top of Arthur’s Seat which provided an uninterrupted view of Edinburgh, incredible!!

In true van life style we found some showers at the local swimming pool - showers another thing taken for granted at home! Before heading to our free camping spot for the night. Just look at the view!! Isn’t it insane!Læs mere
