Went to coffee world today...wow what a collection and so beautifully curated lots of love and time has gone into this museum
Popped out to a pub for lunch as well in Mareeba and of course a pint 😀 🍻

Daintree! Pt1

Left Mossman for the Daintree. Going to spend 2-3 nights here. The only way in is on a ferry which was pretty cool. Had a bit of a look around the weather not spectacular a bit moody but what a gorgeous place where the rainforest meets the reef.Read more

Today we left our beautiful campsite to head to Musgrave and then Coen. The road was rough but if you drive to conditions its not too bad. Definitely 4wd only. We're staying the next couple of nights in Coen at a free camp....Northern Bend a couple of kms out of town....VERY busy lots of people out and about but everyone is so friendly. Might head into the 's'exchange pub tomorrow for a pint 🍻Read more

Will be sad to leave this camp it has been brilliant. Will definitely miss the camp dog that comes to visit us everyday for a cuddle and a snack....

Portland Connection Rd

Today we left Archer River and made our way along the Portland Connection Rd to Chilli Beach. The road was interesting, bitumen in parts, dips, corrugations and a few water crossings but nothing crazy. Beautiful rainforest country towards the latter part of the trip much like daintreeRead more

Have really enjoyed today...all of the other campers in our section have gone so it was just us all day!!! Bliss 😊
Went for a walk along the beach...unfortunately lots of rubbish like heaps 😔 majority from the writing on the items seems to be from overseas like PNG, TI, Indo. Very sad to see our shores and ultimately oceans so cluttered with rubbish. Oh and on another note went to go to the camp toilets and there was a wild bloody pig 🐖 😳

What a brilliant Station Stay!!
A beautiful campsite, great rustic basic camp kitchen and games area. And a plunge pool!! And guess what...crazy but we had all of this to ourselves not one other campers. We sat in the plunge pool, enjoying a beer watching the sunset and all of the birds and kangaroos...it was absolutely magnificent ❤️ they also do 2 course meal for $25 pp if you book early enough 😀Read more
