Made our way back to Alice after 3 nights at Glen Helen 😀
We stopped in to see the Ochre Pits and Ellery Creek Big Hole. No swimming as it was freezing 🥶😆

Gem Tree, Plenty Highway

Left Alice to travel a bit north to stay at Gem Tree for a couple of nights for some fossicking for garnett. Enjoyed some amazing camp fires 🔥

Travelled through to Devil's Marbles after stopping in at Barrow Creek once more. The camping here is pretty special but the NT parks booking system is 💩 as our site was double booked 😬

Gem Tree, zircon area

Explored the area where you fossick for zircons. Such a beautiful stunning area and lots of free camping and the sites so spaced out it was gorgeous 😍

Left Devils heading north a bit more then finally east towards Queensland. We had a smooth trip and spent the night at the Barkly Homestead. Brilliant feed and a couple of cold beers.

What an amazing free camp we've enjoyed here at Camooweal. We've seen an array of birdlife every moment of the day and enjoyed camp fires every night. Very sad to be leaving.

Hiked Lawn Hill NP 😊 it is so so pretty. Probably hiked about 8km. It seriously is a gorgeous park 😍

Went out for dinner at The Buffs Club.

Arrived at Julia Creek. What a beautiful little town such a nice feeling about it. Went through Cloncurry on the way there.
