Made our way to Millstream National Park. We have 3 nights here. We weren't really planning here before Karinjini but so glad we did. Basically no one here, quiet, stunning and very close to the campground is Deep Reach a beautiful swimming area which is absolutely stunning 😍 what else is stunning is the sunsets...beautiful 🌞 can't wait for the next few days and what we'll see and finally do some hikes 🙂
We were on campsite 15..it's perfect 🥰

  • Millstream

    23. april 2022, Australia ⋅ ☀️ 33 °C

Well today we didn't need to go anywhere in the car.
We walked up to the homestead had a look around and then did a hike around Millstream which lead us through such contrasting landscapes...one minute we were in sub tropical forests with massive palm and pandanis trees then we were in arid landscapes filled with cliff faces leading down to the Fortescue River and grass plains...it was beautiful 😍. Very very hot but the walk ended up at Deep Reach so we went for a swim. This is our second time here the first time I didn't notice all of the giant catfish patrolling the steps into the water 😅Les mer

  • Karijini Pt 3 Mt Bruce

    27. april 2022, Australia ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

Well we ventured just outside the park today to do a 10km return hike up Mt Bruce. I'm sad to say Mt Bruce won this battle 😢 I was just too scared of heights...there was one bit where you had to climb around a chain on a cliff...if you fell yeah game over....disappointed in myself but it just felt too much at the time...beautiful views though and this was towards the end of the climb up so still a decent walk.
Our campsite is Cockatoo site 6...awesome spot 👌
