6 hour bus and a 12 hour overnight ferry to arrive on Nias Island! Found a perfect little hostel on the beach with an amazing host and other guest. Family feeling for 10 days over here :)

Went surfing almost every day and besides that explores the islands beaches, waterfall, street food and traditional villages!Read more

12 hour in the ferry and 16 hours by bus to get to the beautiful highlands of West Sumatra just south of the Equator.

Grabbed a scooter right away and started exploring the surroundings. Local cow races, traditional architecture and a lot of valleys with beautiful landscapes!Read more
TravelerPaul arrived in Dubai yesterday. Happy to have him here for a couple of days before he is heading back to Europe.

Last days in Padang

Spent the last days of the trip on Padang! There is not particularly much to see here but they have an international airport here :)

Got a scooter and drove outside of the city to some beaches and did some snorkeling! Saw some sea turtles and loads of big tropical fish :) Great way to end the trip!!

Also I made I sure to drink as many fresh coconuts as I could :)
