Ottawa and the Lights Lumieres

After a 5 hour train journey, our first pint was a welcome relief in Pub 101 where every beer and meal was $5.01 ☺ We checked into our 'cell' in the former Ottawa jail, now hostel, to much amusement. A visit to the National Gallery included some fairly suspect contemporary 'art' and an awesome European section (it's just not an art gallery without a Van Dyck) followed by an unexpected bagpipe concert in the sunshine!
