Split

Our final stop. And thank goodness for the glorious weather as it Split itself does not have a huge amount to offer! The view of the city from the ship is beautiful and the sprawling mass of the Dioclesian Palace, into which shops, cafes and museum have been housed, is a stunning remain. So we wandered around this and around the city walls...but beyond this, we found Split rather lacklustre. After meandering the markets and shops, we headed back to the ship to spend the day chilling out.

We took advantage of the empty pools and jacuzzis, I finished my third book of the holiday, and we enjoyed the tranquility of our balcony!Read more
