Liverpool Docks

Completing our circuit of the city, we walked towards the Docks for the Maritime Museum and some rooftop gardens. The Maritime Museum was interesting enough...however the Lusitania exhibit seemed to make no reference to the munitions on board and the Titanic exhibit made a big deal of its connection to Liverpool which was rather tenuous. We didn't stay overly long, therefore, and headed to some bars on the dockside. Having found three lovely looking rooftop gardens to hop between, it was disappointing that one was closed due to being understaffed, one because it was Wednesday and one for a private function! So, plans thwarted, we headed back to the ship for sailaway.
