Toulon

In to France today and the port of La Seyne-sur-Mer for Toulon. Rather than pay $78 for a Princess boat across the water to Toulon, we walked ten minutes around the port to the public water taxi. Same route, same stops, but for the princely sum of €4. You cannot, however, pay on card on the boat which was a faff. We were clearly far from the only cruise passengers with the same plan, and whilst Ben helped a family with their map, another complained to me about the cost!

On land, despite seemingly having lots to see on the map, we whipped through Toulon quite quickly. Not as pretty as Genoa, but it's key role is to house a large portion of the French Navy. Wandering a big loop through the city, we stopped by the Maritime Museum to finish which has a really interesting exhibition on Operation Dragoon.Okumaya devam et
