Serbian Orthodox church - underground

As most building are dug underground due to the high temperatures in the middle of summer of around 52°, this way it's stays around 23°
Crocodile Harry's underground mine and d

This person tried his luck with mining only with little success, as you can see he was a hoarder, he later died, I think he left it all to the council

Coober Pedy dugout

This dugout is owned by our tour driver, very typical home of today, he would like to sell it but won't get what's its worth, it's worth around $400,000. and would be lucky to get half of that!

Another great mine to look at, too many pics to upload, well worth a visit

Arrived here today for 3 nights, big day tomorrow with lots of walking - maybe?
Kings Canyon

Went for a walk up to the rim, too difficult as nothing to hang onto, did the smaller one instead, the South Wall, still reasonably difficult.
Alice Springs

Arrived in Alice Springs, some amazing scenery 150km south and coming into Alice, wouldn't expect to see that in the middle of Australia!
Alice Springs

Just had a look around the town today and surrounds, quite a nice looking place has everything you need except Uncle Dan and Mrs Spotlight 🤣🤣🤣. Took these shots on Anzac Hill lookout andRead more
Standley Chasm

Went out for the day touring through the beautiful McDonald Ranges, and beautiful is an under statement because you don't expect to see this in the middle of Australia.
Ellery Creek big hole

Serpentine Gorge

Beautiful Gorge and the water is freezing because it's protected from the sun for most of the day due to be surrounded by the ranges.
