Reclining Buddha

The Reclining Buddha in Bangkok is located at Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), one of the city's oldest and largest temples, situated south of the Grand Palace. The impressive gold-plated statue is 150 feet long and represents Buddha entering nirvana. Wat Pho also houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand and is home to the first public university, a center for traditional Thai massage and medicine.
