In Christchurch we celebrated Jonah's birthday. We walked around after eating in a really fantastic cafe. Because there was an earthquake in 2011 many buildings were crumpled. We saw the cathedral,Weiterlesen

After Jonah's birthday lunch in Christchurch we went to Akaroa. This is a pretty little village with a French feeling to it. French settlers first came here in 1840.

After looking at Lake Tekapo we went to a campsite next to a lake with lots of mountains surrounding it, one of which is called Mount Cook. We only stayed there for one night. It was really nice.
