In Christchurch we celebrated Jonah's birthday. We walked around after eating in a really fantastic cafe. Because there was an earthquake in 2011 many buildings were crumpled. We saw the cathedral,Baca lagi
Akaroa

After Jonah's birthday lunch in Christchurch we went to Akaroa. This is a pretty little village with a French feeling to it. French settlers first came here in 1840.

Overnight camping with views of Mt Cook

After looking at Lake Tekapo we went to a campsite next to a lake with lots of mountains surrounding it, one of which is called Mount Cook. We only stayed there for one night. It was really nice.

What an incredible view. Its so rare to see something so unspoilt. Its very wet and muddy in Ness this morning.. And cold. I'm off for a very soggy dog walk soon. Ness has some pretty lovely views, even in this weather, but nothing quite so stunning as your picture.x
