Isle of Skye - last day

Left the Isle for the drive back to Edinburgh. Stopped at the Eileen Donan castle. Interesting that it was only restored to it's present state about 100 years ago. Supposedly still used by the clan as a residence occasionally.

Stopped at Loch Ness for lunch. No monster seen.

Adam had also been promising to find us some Scottish "coos" (cows to us). Small, shaggy, horned. and not very common now. He did find a few of the male persuasion. Czytaj więcej
