Arrival in Europe

Well it's been a bit of a struggle the beginning part of this trip first we had 9 hours of flight delays which meant we didn't get into Bilbao until about midnight the only good part about the delays was that we did get upgraded to business class on both the flight from Chicago to Munich and the Munich to build flight but then we didn't see anything of Bilbao because we got in a midnight and left the next morning when we got our transfer to go from the hotel to the train station the driver apparently didn't know which train station to take us to and he took us to the wrong one there right next to each other but we barely made it on the train Gail had to basically kidnap a guy who didn't speak hardly any English but he finally understood what we were looking for and pointed us to the right building and we got there like 2 minutes before the train left so that was a bit of a challenge then the next day we're in Santander and Gail gets sick and so she spent the whole day in bed and by early evening we ended up calling an ambulance and Hauling her off to the hospital where we spent 6 hours and then got back to the hotel at midnight so we ended up spending an extra night in Santander and having to skip the next stop on our trip we changed the plan and had a car drive us to Oviedo which is where we are now rather than endure a very long train ride that we wouldn't have gotten here until 9:00 p.m. as it was with the car it was only a two hour drive so that was not so bad to add to it all this fine Penguins app had a bug which meant I couldn't add what they call a footprint couldn't add anything to this trip until now when they explain how to get around the bug and so there's nothing in our records from Bilbao or Santander not that there's that much we want to remember about either of those citiesRead more
