Had a nice bus/motorboat ride to Philaes Temple. Then another motorboat ride to Nubian Village where we were entertained by local Nubians. We danced!!!

Fairly quiet day. Other than our Rug Pirates who rowed by!! We were moving through the locks so they rowed fast!! Anything for a sale!

Then we had a massage (wonderful). Then its Sip ' n sail time (thats happy hour to you). Dinner soon. Would not want to miss a meal.Okumaya devam et

Sunday. Temple of Hathor

Had police escort. Visited the Temple of Hathor (Goddess of love, motherhood). Also the most colorful of all temples in Egypt. First century AD. Ceilings were gorgeous.

FINALLY Cleopatra is here.

It was 109 degrees. We walked up the stairs (circular as the way a falcon flies) then down another set of stairs straight down (as crow flies). As everything in Egypt has a meaning.

We are touching the wall of negativity. If you touch it, it pulls all negativity away.

Royal Palace

Abdeen Palace (still used by current Presidential royals). Gorgeous. Served lunch in Royal dining room. Then walked to Hanging Church (I lost some of that story). But beautiful church.

92 lb suitcase!

This is a first! Dana and I had left one suitcase at the Four Seasons, took another one each on the Nile cruise. We did a good bit of shopping (as good little tourists!). My suitcase today on Egypt Air was 42.5 kg. Which equates to 92 lbs!! Holy cannoli. It was a tad heavy.

We overnight in Cairo then leave tomorrow afternoon. Our flight isn't until 730pm.

Thank you for the experiences of your country. Your magnificent Temples, chaotic Cairo, the scenic Nile, listening to prayer times, Charlie my sweet camel, your gracious welcomes, being surrounded by thousands of years of life, love, history.
