Stayed at the Sanga hostel here where the hostess was so kind. She couldn't do enough for the guests. Thoroughly recommend. While here I went on a couple of days exploring on a scooter.

From Vang Vien to the capital Vientiane. Not a huge amount to do here. Planning to travel to Prakse, perhaps do the Prakse loop then 4000 Islands - not all of them and then on to Cambodia.

Travel from Luang Prabang to Vang Vien. Six hours by taxi but only an hour by train so took the train. Very highly efficient. I suspect Chinese involvement. For some reason the railway station atBaca lagi
