Rio de Janeiro Day 2

Joined the walking tour of Downtown and Lapa. We started at the Clock Tower visiting historical parts of the city. Also saw one of the world's 10 ugliest build. As the day temperature reached 32 and humid, we bowed out after a couple of hours.
Caught an Uber to return to the hotel. Our driver informed us that he was hit by a motorcycle just before he picked us up. Motorists are very aggressive. I had to close my eyes a few times.
The afternoon was spent on the beach. So many vendors peddling their wares, from food, to drinks, clothes etc.
Decided to have a glass of wine at one of the local pubs. It was more than entertaining as 3 women got into a heated argument. Couldn't understand a word that was said. 2 got up and left, then a few minutes later returned. All seemed to calm down.
