    Day 1 Lofoten

    After extensive days of driving and a Christmas Day in Stockholm, this day is set to decelerate and decompress. With a booked breakfast for this day in the fireplace room, the day started off right with coziness, a nicely prepared breakfast and some room and toys to play around with for the kids. Within hours a real vacation mode turned on and we had a cozy day one with a lot of playtime together. On top it snowed, the kids made some connection with other families and played outside for a while. The boys could elaborate on snowboard skills a bit more. Perfect start for everyone 👌🏼
    In the evening the first „hunt“ for the Aurora started, with apps radaring the night sky status. People running around staring at the sky, setting cameras, picking the perfect driving location.
    Italians, Japanese, Swedish, Germans, many nationalities present.
    We make turns in going outside, finding one breath taking scene after another, including 3 large shooting stars 🌠✨, just not yet any Norrhern Lights. 6 more nights to go!    Read more
