Luleå dog walk at -36C. Knuts paws freeze up, receptors in the nose and fingers are too! 🥶
Snug into Magnus bed at night, a luxury he doesn't get to enjoy at home 🐶Quick view on the map for our continued route 🗺️Weather sunny, great morning viewsSun coming through ☀️🫶The sights are still beautiful, the weather conditions change from sunny to cloudy with heavy snow ❄️About half way to Stockholm we are at -18C, reasonable and comfortable cold 😅❄️Lakes still frozen in this latitudeSnow getting thicker and heavier. A snow storm went theough mid-Sweden the days beforeTraffic becomes thicker, we see more and more trucks getting stuck on upward hillsCausing several detours through neighborhoods with heavy snow. No chance without chains! The night prolongs, we have to adjust the schedule and plan another stopStop at Max Burgers. Snow coming down heavyMood is good, despite all delays and a long day 😋✌🏼The obligatory snow photo 😋Good evening Stockholm ✌🏼, 00:30 🥱Difficult viewing conditions on the last stretch of the day 🥱

    Luleå to Stockholm

    January 4, 2024 in Sweden ⋅ ☁️ -14 °C

The drive from Luleå at -36C to a hopefully warmer Stockholm. Etappe 2/3 of the return home trip.
The kids got to their pool time the day before, the car was resting in the warm garage over night. The night was still short, given all events, all were in bed in the Family room by 10:00p.
Knut found room in Magnus bed over night 😅

The temperatures are quite intense as Christopher got instant blisters on his hands just by touching the gasoline handle. Knut didn’t want to spend much time outside either. The nosebuds would freeze up after a minute outside and breathing gets hard. Time to cover up or stay inside.
