    On to Canyonlands National Park

    Canyonlands National Park in southeastern Utah is known for its dramatic desert landscape carved by the Colorado River. 

     **Aztec Butte....2 mile round trip to top of rock mountain
    **Pueblo shelter and granaries

    #5....Arches National Park

    Another awesome hike up to Delicate Arch.
    * 3 mile hike
    * Wolfe Ranch..built in 1907
    * more petroglyphs... Ute Rock Art
    * climbed another rock face up 480 ft then walked around rock ledge for 200 yds up
    * to finally see the awesome Delicate Arch

    Arches National Park lies north of Moab in the state of Utah. Bordered by the Colorado River in the southeast, it’s known as the site of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, such as the massive, red-hued Delicate Arch in the east. Long, thin Landscape Arch stands in Devils Garden to the north. Other geological formations include Balanced Rock, towering over the desert landscape in the middle of the park.    Leggi altro

    Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches

    More arches ....
    Landscape Arch is one of the longest arches in the world ...spans 306 ft

    End of trip

    Heading back home after a great trip
    Just in awe of all the God-made sites
    we got to see❤
