    Made it to Paducah

    Made it to Paducah. Met up with Kim and David. Tomorrow we go see the quilt hing in the Museum that it will live out it's days. So very proid of these two ladies, also very grateful to be apart of this amazing day ❤️
    Can't wait until tomorrow!
    We went out for dinner then went to the river. They had a couple of tour boats 🚢 come in. Fun watching them practice the docking procedure. They don't have docks so they have to use ramps. Something new for me...    Baca lagi

    QUILT DAY!!! 💝

    Today is the day for my sister to see her quilted quilt hung in a quilt museum for the rest of it's time! My sister (quilter) and her partner Kim Diamond (designer) will forever have their Quilt (Dahlias in the Snow) hung in this amazing quilt museum tell the ends of time.Baca lagi

    Traveling from Paducah to Saint Louis then to Columbus to Stay at Kim and David's for a few day's.
    Really enjoyed the tour at Budweiser. We had a great time. Really different from Coors. Bud Really has a beautifully detailed factory 🏭 as Coors offers more alcohol 🍸. Both tours are fun and informative.Baca lagi

    Kim has been great. Jo wants to see Kims family, and grand babies so taking a break from our regular travels.

    1880 Town

    We left Kim's and making our way to South Dakota. Going to Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park and The Badlands National Park.
    We stopped in a town called 1880 town. They have many old movie props like Dances with Wolves. The place was interesting but definitely ran down. The Saloon had a person serving soda and popcorn. They also had a very cute donkey. Jo took pictures of him.Baca lagi

    Custer & Corn 🌽 Palace

    Left 1880 town heading to Corn Palace then Custer State Park. Corn Palace was rather corny but fun. Not top on the to do or bucket list.
    Headed to Custer and had a great time. Way to finish the day. Seen lots of Rams 🐏 and Bison and the amazing Prairie Dogs. Wanted to see Mountain Goats but no such luck!Baca lagi

    Custer State Park

    Well we made it to Custer State Park. Had a great time. Seen some Bison, Pronghorn, Coyotes and My favorite begging burrows. They are toooo much fun!

    Grand Teton Bound

    Always love ❤️ Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole. Seen a couple Moose a Cow and a Calf. Seen some Pronghorn, Elk and a Few 🦬 Bison. I'd say that was a great day 😀

    Tetons to Yellowstone

    Got up early and started our quest. Seen a heard of Elk 1st thing. Continued on and went down Green Grassy Road and seen some Sandhill Crain's. They are such amazing birds 🐦
    They didn't like us watching so they took flight to get away.
    Went and seen Old Faithful and she was true to her name. She blew herself up and we were just in time to see her go off so we didn't have to wait around.
    During our drive we didn't see much for wildlife in Yellowstone. Not sure if its do to Wolves or the Floods that happened, but since the 1st time I've been here there seems to be less and less wildlife. So so sad.
    We couldn't get to Lamar Valley (my favorite) do to the damage from the floods 😭 so we continued to Mammoth Hot Springs and seen some Cow Elk.
    Getting late so headed to cam and when we made it to Hayden Valley we were welcomed by Horny Bison 🦬
    It was amazing. Those bulls and their grunting was truly Awesome!!! I highly recommend it if given the opportunity!
    The line of cars was ridiculous 🙄 but almost welcomed. There were spots to pull off the road but some people just don't get it!    Baca lagi

    Yellowstone to Glacier

    Spent the morning in Yellowstone. Seen a few Wolves, missed the grizzlies by a hair and enjoyed some Elk and Bison.
    We made it out the West entrance and tried to grab some brunch. You'd think it would have been easy but not so much.
    However we did find a place and ate.
    After that we headed to Glacier.

    Glacier National Park

    Made it to Glacier, we knew our Van was to long to go on Going to the Sun Road in Glacier so we had planned on renting a side by side. However we didn't know they had a timed entry also. So that was quite disappointing. We made it work. We road the CanAm on some back roads around a beautiful lake then at 4pm we were aloud to enter Glacier. We had to have CanAm back by 6:30 so we hauled butt up to weaping wall and were we could hopefully spot some Mountain Goats 🐐.
    We were much later in the year so the wall was barely weeping and no Mountain Goats to be seen.
    No biggie, we had fun.    Baca lagi

    Making way home

    Finished up in glacier and started home. Of course we couldn't take the main roads so of course we did the back roads. We seen signs for Moose Crossing but no such luck. Would have truly been a bonus. No pictures do to driving. Stayed the night along side the road for the night!Baca lagi
