After a hectic few days and a proposed trip to Kakamega we decided to take it easier. After a leisurely breakfast we went down the road to a swimming pool. With only about 3 others in the pool we nearly had the pool to ourselves until 3 school bus loads of children turned up, about half of whom swam with the rest watching from the side! After a light lunch we went back to the hotel and took a walk through the back roads to Mumias to visit the market.
