A Frick business trip. I've been "Walkin' in Memphis" before, twice, but never Nashville. Wish my better-3/4 could be with me. (This business trip, I'm along for the ride, in a sense. The WI, Green Bay, Madison to Milwaukee trip, I planned all the details.)

This is a 2.5 day trip and I debated even making a footprint. Trivial trip vs our European trips, or the stellar UK trip of Richard and Lisa. Yet, it's new to me, and I thought of Lisa's college days hometown (and then found out Greg M. at FCF was not getting to go here for his birthday). Maybe I can

Traveler *- In a mid-America, non-accent, accent. We would pick up my Dad at the airport as a kid and always enjoyed trying to sound like an airport announcements guy. A fun memory that we'd be seeing Dad soon, after away on a long, at-sea field trip.

Traveler Many know Greg M. at FCF is an Elvis and Nashville fan. Sadly, Richard and Judy were not able to go to Nashville for his 57th B'day, this yr. Even in visiting them yesterday (having hijacked a bicycling 🚲 friend's lunch ride), time didn't permit me to tell them, "I'm going!" Will try to call later today. Wish Greg happy 57th birthday 🎂 🥳, now til, on Sunday!

Traveler Dulles is rarely my choice of the 3 Balt-DC airports, but they'll have direct flights at times and to places the others won't. A direct flight is a direct flight. <2 hrs. 👍
