  • Senso-Ji 🛕 🙏

    Tokyo has so many things to offer and we decided to pay a visit early in the morning to Tokyo's Senso-Ji Temple after our breakfast at a nearby ramen restaurant. An unique, but different temple compared to those I'm familiar with, though a bit overcrowded.Read more

  • A lesson of History!

    After visiting the Senso-Ji temple, we didn't sit idle and decided to explore a museum about the history of Japan. While we are familiar with the basic history of Japan, we learned a lot of new facts about Japan and how the culture has grown over time!

  • Taking a stroll around Tokyo's imperial!

    After having a quick bite, we decided to pay a visit to Tokyo's Imperial Palace only to realize that it was already closed and the tours were fully booked for today and any of the upcoming days, so rather than endlessly finding a way to make it work, we decided to take a stroll around the compound.Read more

  • Tasty Seafood!

    After a wonderful night we decided to start our day with some nice seafood breakfast at Tsukiji fish market. Expensive and a tourist attraction, yet very entertaining and delicious!

  • Capyneko Café!!

    And in order to fullfill a long lasting dream from my wife, we booked an appointment at Capyneko Cafe in order to meet a Capybara accompanied by some lovely cats!

  • KYOTO!

    Kyoto was definitely the most expensive city of the ones we were about to stay and we decided to stay in Tune Stay Kyoto, which did have a nice lobby, yet basic rooms. Not that it did matter much as we were outside most of the times!Read more

  • Tasty food in Nishiki Market

    Thereafter we went to the Nishiki Market to have a late lunch/early dinner and trying out many of those tasty snacks including milt in ponzu sauce, blood clam sashimi and some grilled seafood!

  • The Famous Fushimi Inari Taisha

    After experiencing Natto for the very first time as a breakfast option, we were now ready to pay a visit to the Fushii Inari Taisha. A famous spot in Kyoto, but extremely crowded. We did enjoy it though and did make a wish for us to receive a baby.Read more

  • Exploring Pontocho

    When the nightly hours were approaching, it was now time for us to find some food for dinner in the Pontocho district, which turned out to be quite a challenge as most restaurants were fully booked or did not look that appetizing. In the end we gave up and decided to try the first restaurant with an available spot. Food wasn't that great!Read more

    The following day we decided to head in the opposite direction towards the bamboo forest, but we decided first to pay a visit to the Tenryu-ji temple, which to be honest was an ordinary temple with an amazing garden😍.Read more

  • A very beautiful riverline!

    Upon exiting the bamboo forest and taking a different walking route than most tourists, we did end up near the river which gave us a spectacular view over the river. We also managed to have a lunch in a restaurant near the river which was catering more to Japanese clients, yet the food they offered was delicious.Read more

  • Yasaka's Shrine

    Initially after our lunch, we wanted to book us on a ride with a train that is known to be very romantic, but unfortunately was sold out by the time we reached the station. Instead we decided to head back to Kyoto and pay a visit to a shrine where we witnessed a wedding ceremony!Read more

  • Gion's Old District

    Given that it was late afternoon on a sunday, a lot of shops were unfortunately closed, so we decided to take a stroll through the old district of Gion, which was calming and pleasant!
