    Dec 14–15, 2024 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 26 °C

We arrived at stop number one Ettamoga Pub Table Top.

Took 5 minutes for Adelaide to smash her front tooth and have a mouth full of blood. She was very brave and showed everyone nearby.

What a wonderful place to make our first stop. Staff are so lovely and besides from Addie’s first smash to the mouth it’s been a lovely start. We played lots of music and eye spy in the car. - Lauren

Caravan maintenance log- driving down the freeway and J-mould has separating and flying around at 100km. Quick fix with some tape and back on the road. TV cable fried within in 5 minutes of turning on. Unsure if fridge is working on gas. Caravan towed well but definitely overloaded by my wife. - Luke

I bumped my tooth and it was bleeding and it’s so wobbly. I miss my friends already. - Adelaide

It was pretty wonderful writing a bucket list with Adelaide today, knowing we will probably tick off all the things she is excited about. We are all so excited to get to Tasmania tomorrow morning. - Lauren

Rewired the reverse camera, a hose fitting broke, went to Bunnings but forgot to buy it instead I bought other things. Washed the car, fuelled up ready to go on the ferry. - Luke

    December 24, 2024 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 12 °C

Today we took a Gordon River cruise through Hells Gate into the Macquarie Harbour to Sarah Island which was considered to be one of the worst penal colonies. We finished with heading back to caravan park where Addie and her new friends performed a magic show. Addie told us since day one when she hit her tooth out that the tooth fairy would come the same night as Santa, so it was a great way to end with Addie losing her tooth right before bed.

The best thing today was watching Addie and Henry sitting the captains seat and press the horn. Their faces were priceless. I also loved when Henry said he was looking to make sure the bad guys didn’t come back on the boat after I explained they used to lock bad guys up on the island. - Lauren
