SFO cold!

Landed at 10:30pm and felt the chill immediately when leaving the plane. I didn’t know what to expect of this place but for some reason I had a good feeling as we drove to the hotel.

After wandering around the city I got a bus and ended up watching the sunset over the famous Golden Gate.
Nice stroll but very tourist oriented. Spent a lot of time resisting the urge to buy pretzel hotdogs and buckets of mini donuts.
After a long travel day I finally made it to NY. This city has captivated me for so long and finally I’m here to see it for myself.
First day exploring the city. It’s so much bigger than I could of ever imagined.
Walking around 5 floors of modern art looking at Pablo, Henry, Frida, Andy, Salvador, Oxman and friends
Took the subway over the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges to check out DUMBO and Brooklyn.
Took the 6 train to Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center Memorial.
Had to see the Guggenheim but left being disappointed by a lack of artwork. Not worth the $25 entry at all.
After almost a month the USA portion of the trip is over. I’ve seen and learnt so much and it will take me a while to settle.
