Chambers Gorge

Today, we're took a detour on the way to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. We saw the sign to Chambers Gorge was only 9km off the main road and decided we would take a quick look. After a short walk through the Gorge looking at the Aboriginal carvings, we made a decision to stop the night and continue to Arkaroola on Thursday. We chose a nice little spot by the dry river bed. We lit a fire cooked a meal and enjoyed the atmosphere. We met 3 other vehicles, that also had the same idea and camped further up the river.Read more
