We left our hotel in Squamish about 9am and headed for the port of Horseshoe Bay. We didn't have to book tickets, just turned up and paid. The crossing was calm and took about an hour and a half. First impressions of the island were disappointing, poor roads and scruffy looking. We crossed the island to stay in Tofino for 2 nights.Read more
