    Ireland Road Trip Continues

    Traveled to Limerick today, bought another suitcase 🤣 checked out Bunratty Castle, I lost Brian and ended up buying some amazing photograph prints off a local woman (it was mentioned my husband shouldn't have left me with the credit card). Then we were off to Galway for lunch and stumbled onto a pub that supported Celtic Football. Drove to Westport and then onto our accommodation at Cabra Castle and OMG it is spectacular.Leggi altro

    Today we went for brunch at a cute little place called The Eagle Café at Pier 39 then onto Alcatraz which was a very interesting tour. Grateful for the golf cart to take us less able up to the top, apparently equivalent to 13 flights of stairs. As the cart was full, Brian had to walk up but didn't take him long to catch up with me. We started the hop on hop off bus route and got off in Union Square near our hotel and did a spot of shopping. I went to Gucci and it was a bit weird having security guards wearing shades. Had to go to Nike for my big boy, and that store was 7 floors but didn't have the range I was expecting. Then we went back to our hotel for a quick nap, which turned out not to be quick, but as we are both still recovering from this virus, we must have needed the sleep.     San Francisco - Last day playing Tourist

    Had a lazy start to the day and had a leisurely breakfast at a french café next to hotel. Then we strolled down to Union Square to hop on the bus. Went over the golden gate bridge and it was cold and we seen a bit more of San Francisco. Had lunch at Boudins at Fisherman's Wharf and then we went to It'Sugar the largest candy store we have ever walked into. The cops we spoke with said Brian will be locked up at airport for smuggling 🤣 Ended the day in the city with a nice Gelato. Now to wait for our 13 hour flight at 10pmLeggi altro
