Santa Cruz de la Sierra

During another long weekend, we traveled to Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia for a medical conference to which Augusto had been invited. We spent the first two days in a nice hotel and the last two days with Augusto’s friend, Gonzalo. Gonzalo, who appeared to be very wealthy, treated us to lunch and dinner at fancy restaurants every day. One evening, we attended a 75th birthday celebration for one of Gonzalo’s relatives. After the conference ended, we spent a day at Gonzalo’s holiday house outside the city.Leggi altro
