Cotswolds for Dads 70th

Surprise pull up to tiny village of Slad where dad coincidentally realised he had been with uncle Les and was already fond of the Woolpack pub (the reason we picked the place)! Arriving to our cute cottage in the autumnal sunset twisting down the country roads, what a gorgeous place. Dog walks and pub talks, quality time w Buster boy, bro, daddio and my new nephew Max. Ox tongue, pate, fig burratta starter and the best Beef roast dinner. Moonlight walk home at night time and Jamo ipad kid time. Farm shop to buy our banger and mash dinner and pub snacks at lunch. Game of Catan to finish the eve with a movie and a slow morning before driving home. The perfect English getaway.Read more
