Bonnie BenedictWe learned that rattlesnakes are very shy and, given a choice, will retreat. They shake their rattles when they’re scared. And, more people die from bee stings than rattlesnake bites. 😃

Huevos Rancheros for our first New Mexico breakfast with one of their famous cinnamon rolls for dessert.

Editing to add that the huevos rancheros and tortillas were amazing. The cinnamon roll, meh....

A delicious start to our vacation. Margaritas and tacos in the Knob Hill district

Nob Hill centers on buzzing Central Avenue, a stretch of the iconic Route 66 packed with brewpubs, taquerias, hookah bars and pizzerias. Food trucks line the street late into the night, catering to crowds from local dance clubs and music bars.
