    I went last night to have a sleepover at chloé so we could drive together to the studio to sort, count, and repack the merch.

    It was a big job with some extra deliveries during the day of Asgeir and Elinborg. We managed to be finished in the evening, just before my phone call with trystan.

    Tour prepday 2

    Today I woke up early to pick up my car and stopped by the SOM office to have a quick catch-up with Danny.

    He told me I had packed too much, so I had to repack. I was super stressed since I already had an intense, full day with way too much to do. Luckily, Chloé was able to take on some tasks for me.

    At the end of the day, I managed to:

    Repack Eivør’s merch

    Pick up Elinborg’s merch

    Sort and count Elinborg’s merch

    Sort Ásgeir’s merch

    Go to the hairdresser

    Pack my suitcase

    Repack the decorations

    Visit Tamara

    Do administration work

    Do laundry

    Drive to Chloé’s and stay there for the night

    …and many other things I probably forgot.

    Showday 1: Gent

    September 19, 2025 in Belgium ⋅ ☁️ 27 °C

    We left Chloé’s parents’ place around 8, so we’d be ready in Apeldoorn by 9. Packed a few last things and waited for Danny to pick us up with the merch. But first, we had to park the car somewhere.

    On the way to Gent we hit some traffic, so we arrived an hour later than planned. We immediately started the load-out—didn’t even have time to say hi to everyone.

    Danny and I had about 20 minutes to prepare some files before he had to leave. His drive back was hell, with tons of traffic.

    First, we counted in some merch from Ásgeir, then got ready for set-up.

    Sales were good! After a quick pack-down we had to do the horrible, complicated border-crossing accounting. That took me 2 hours, so no sleep until 3 a.m. passport/security check at the UK border.

    We missed our 4 a.m. ferry, so I grabbed an hour of sleep before boarding. Slept 1.5 hours on the ferry, and then we had to go through the border crossing with our papers. Luckily, nothing was asked, so no taxes paid!

    Finally, around 8 a.m., I could actually call it a night and catch a few more hours of sleep.

    Showday 2: Bristol

    At the Morris office last year, Emily, Katrine, and I had the funny hot chocolate experience while waiting for the paperwork. This time it’s a new machine—too bad! But still, fun memories.

    From 8 until 12:30 I managed to catch some sleep. Load-in was okay. We were a bit stressed during set-up, but in the end everything went fine.

    The disco load-out was stressful, so we packed during the show—because with that you sometimes need to be out in less than an hour after showtime.

    Showday 3: Manchester

    Arrived in Manchester after a fairly easy ride and slept well.

    Chloé and I went out for a coffee first, and then to find a toilet, that’s always the biggest puzzle on tour, haha.

    We took our time to do some recounting, and setup was smoother since we reused the big display from the previous show. This time we could actually watch the show again, which was nice.

    Every day we get a food buyout, and under the venue there was a food court, so of course we had to try different things—tacos and sushi it was. We also planned extra food for after the show because we’re always hungry.

    Load-out was easy, and as soon as we put the night accounting in the bus, I had a drink with the rest. That’s always tricky, because it never stops at just one. Luckily the bed isn’t too far away.    Read more

    Showday 4: Glasgow

    Woke up with a hangover, oepsi… but luckily Theodor was making his famous tour omelette for us, so Eivør and I could hopefully recover quickly. A good show helped too.

    Not the best day for me and Chloé, I had a lot of MS symptoms because the tiredness kicked in. But we managed to count all of Ásgeir’s merch and had a nice setup.

    We walked to the nearest place to grab food and then ran back to the merch.

    Showday 5: London

    September 23, 2025 in England ⋅ ☁️ 16 °C

    Today I was back in Brixton. Last time I really enjoyed it here.

    Chloé and I first went out to grab a nice fancy coffee and a snack before we had to tackle some big accounting, get ready for the border crossing at night, and make sure we wouldn’t be stressed after the show.

    We even had time to take a shower before load-in. The merch area was small, so we decided to set it up a bit differently today—and it turned out to be one of the best setups we’ve had so far.

    We finished so early that we had time to go out for food, do a quick thrifting run, and squeeze in more computer work before the show.

    After the concert, Ásgeir came out for signing, as he always does. It’s not really his comfort zone, so we placed him between us, which really helped. It was such a fun moment and also a nice chance to get to know him better. Some familiar faces showed up today too—some brought stress, others joy.

    We had to pack in a rush because merch had to go in first—we wanted to “hide” it for the border crossing to avoid taxes. But even then, we managed to finish the accounting before everyone got back on the bus for party night. No early ferry tomorrow and no show either, which felt amazing.

    We ended the night with a cozy gin-and-tonic party in the upper bus front lounge. Finally had time to catch up with Eivør.

    Damn, I love this group. The bus is our home, and we’re our little family. ❤️    Read more

    Travel day to the Netherlands

    September 24, 2025 in England ⋅ 🌬 14 °C

    We left early in the morning to catch the ferry. Emily told me to stay in bed and not worry about the carnet or taxes since no one would check us anyway. We had breakfast coupons, so all of us enjoyed a proper English breakfast on the ferry and finally had some bonding time with Ásgeir and Gestur, our Icelandic friends, on the bus.

    We had left some pipe and drape, along with Elinborg audio delivery, behind in Ghent. Since we were driving past Ghent anyway, we decided to pick it up—saving money and avoiding shipping risks. Plus, it was a good chance to grab some real food instead of the usual gas station snacks.

    The next stop was Peter Smit. But first, I wanted to show everyone where I used to live. Well—everyone who was awake, at least. We had partied late the night before, so almost everyone took a bunk day, relaxing in their own little bubble.

    At Peter Smit, we had to cross-load since the bus couldn’t park there.

    Afterwards, we checked into our hotel in Amsterdam, right across from Paradiso and the Rijksmuseum.

    In the evening, I went for a walk, grabbed my favorite Febo satay kroket, then headed back for a long shower, some self-care, and a cozy series night.    Read more

    Showday 6: Amsterdam Paradiso

    September 25, 2025 in the Netherlands ⋅ ☁️ 16 °C

    Some of us went to the Rijksmuseum, but I decided not to go and get some more rest instead. I grabbed breakfast and got ready for load-in.

    We had a few count-ins scheduled today, and the merch area was quite small. Still, with a bit of creativity, we managed to set up a nice display and were finished super early.

    Unfortunately, Danny arrived a bit later, which caused some stress before the show since we had to count in all the new t-shirt boxes.

    Sales were crazy—especially during the signing session. The load-out, however, was late, and by then almost everyone had already left to go party.

    Luckily, we still had the hotel to get at least some proper sleep, even if it was only four hours, before leaving for Apeldoorn to pick up even more merch.    Read more

    Showday 7: Köln

    September 26, 2025 in Germany ⋅ ☁️ 17 °C

    First, we stopped at 8:30 at my studio in Apeldoorn to pick up the last restock. It was so unique for me to have a tour bus at my place—my home. It was also good to pack some last personal things. Chloé, Jaffa (our bus driver), and Andy packed the trailer quickly so we could get back on the road.

    Not long after, I went to bed to catch up on some sleep. Another broken night.

    Today was a bit stressful because we had to do some incounts, but at some point Chloé started setting up while I was rearranging the trailer with all the extra boxes.

    The show went well—Luuk came to visit, and Rob dropped off even more Elinborg merch.    Read more

    Showday 8: Frankfurt

    September 27, 2025 in Germany ⋅ ☁️ 15 °C

    After a good night’s sleep, we went in feeling relaxed and had a nice breakfast with the crew. We had a lot of fun setting up the booth, since we had plenty of space and a funky spot for Chloé to display the art, which matched the venue’s quirky interior perfectly.

    I also had a nice phone call with Ruben to catch up on life.

    We decided to stop selling on time because the venue was scheduled to host a party afterward—only to realize we had stopped an hour earlier than planned, haha. That meant we finished super early and could take care of all the computer stuff at a relaxed pace before heading back to the bus.    Read more

    Showday 9: Paris

    September 28, 2025 in France ⋅ ☀️ 11 °C

    Oh oh, Paris… a classical venue, which of course means its own challenges. But first: breakfast with a pain au chocolat.

    The merch area was small and unique in its own way. We really had to break our brains to make it work, but we were so proud of the end result—we even made shelves out of our crates.

    We had some spare time, so Chloé and I went out for a walk and some food. We ended up in the Dr. Martens store, where I bought two new pairs of boots—oops… €400 gone just like that, but I love them both.

    The audience was slow with buying before the show, but afterward there was a big rush. We packed down quite fast because we wanted to load the merch more securely.

    TONIGHT WAS PARTY NIGHT.
    But first, I realized I had left my phone on the bus, so no phone for the next 1.5 days…

    Like last year, we had an off-day in Paris after the show, with two hotel nights—so the perfect night to have a party with everyone. We had already prepared our looks before the show, so we were ready to go. First, we went to a cocktail bar with just us and a few friends. I had amazing drinks and even a tiniest puff of weed with Eivør we never smoke, only occasionally together, because it always gives us these uncontrollable, intense laughs. So much fun.

    After that, we went to the Monkey Bar next door: unique crowd, terrible speakers and music, and only one candle for lighting. Such a vibe.

    When it closed, we went back to the hotel for one last drink but that turned into me, Chloé, Mikael, and Gestur being stuck in the elevator for more than an hour. And of course, I had to go to the loo! It turned into some funny, stressful bonding time in this tiny, warm elevator listening to Alice in Chains and Gestur plotting his “escape.” We managed to get the door open, but we were stuck between levels.

    Per and Eivør were waiting for us on the other side until we were finally released. Then, after one last drink, we all went to bed.    Read more

    Offday Paris

    September 29, 2025 in France ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

    Woke up after a long sleep, we started the day slow, but still had a lot to do.

    First, we went to a café to work on some administration for the merch. After that, we spent the rest of the afternoon in Galeries Lafayette, where I bought a new shade of my favorite Dior lipstick. We spent hours walking around the big fashion brands as if it were a museum. I love how all those fancy things are designed and made—it’s so cool to see them up close.

    At some point, I ripped my pants, so I had to buy a new pair. Then I quickly went back to the hotel because I was supposed to go to a steak restaurant with the guys.

    I had an amazing steak with Mikael, Per, and Gestur. Since I still didn’t have a phone, I had to stay with them, so I also joined them at the cinema afterwards to see a new movie called One Battle After Another. It was funny, sad, sensitive, and really well acted.

    Then I quickly went to bed because the alarm was set for 06:30 buss call.    Read more

    Showday 10: Metz la bam

    Since I had no alarm, I was hoping Chloé had set hers. She did, but it didn’t ring. So we were shocked awake by Emily knocking on our hotel room door.

    In a rush, we packed as quickly as possible and left with an Uber to catch the buses to Metz. On the drive, I managed to get a bit more sleep.

    This venue was an easy one. I remember playing here with Heilung, and you can still see some of the handprints we left on the walls leading to the stage. We made a lot of them back then oopsie…

    I had a lovely phone call with some friends while setting up the merch.

    After the show, we miscalculated the timing a bit, so we had to rush. But in the end, it was a fairly easy day.    Read more

    Showday 11: Rouen

    Another venue we had played before with Heilung, back when Eivør was supporting.

    We arrived early and had plenty of time for a refreshing shower and a good breakfast.

    E and Chloé repacked the trailer to prepare for the new merch in Marseille, since today’s venue was an easy setup.

    The catering was amazing one of the best on the tour so far! Sales were a bit slow, and packing everything up before the show ends always creates a gap in sales. But the drive to Marseille is too long, and France is on strike today, so we needed to leave as soon as possible.    Read more

    Showday 12: Marseille

    Today we arrived in my old town, Marseille well, not that old. The breakup still feels very fresh and emotional with Michael. The night before, I learned that our house in Marseille had been burglarized, and somehow the universe made it so I was just 20 minutes away from it. We started talking again, and I want to help as much as I can, but today was already going to be a lot. So, I warned the group that this city is very intense for me, full of emotions.

    We were in my favorite neighborhood, Cours Julien, so I explained to everyone where to go.

    When we arrived, we had to quickly unload the trailer on the street right next to some homeless people and, yes, a rotten dead rat. The bus had to turn around, and the trailer had to be turned by hand… only in Marseille, haha.

    After that, we went inside, where the Season of Mist office had dropped off our merch restock for the tour. We were supposed to pick it up ourselves, but with the long drives and France being on strike again, this was such a helpful move from them!

    There were over 20 boxes of restock, and we had to grind through them. We only counted the items we needed right away, and for the rest, we used the same numbers as a backup. We’ll slowly recount them later.

    We did a full setup they’d never seen it that big before! Afterwards, I got to show Chloé around my favorite neighborhood, where even more thrift stores have popped up. We had ice cream at my favorite spot and took a little trip down memory lane.

    During the day, I also saw Philippe and Julie from the French office. I was a bit nervous, but they comforted me with kind words.

    The show itself was okay —not the biggest sales, but that was expected in Marseille. After the signing, we packed up and went to the bus.

    Throughout the day, I was in on-and-off contact with Michael. The house is completely trashed… it’s insane. Why did it have to happen exactly when I was there?    Read more

    Showday 13: Toulouse

    October 3, 2025 in France ⋅ ☁️ 21 °C

    Easy night, easy arrival. We got there early, so we were showered and ready long before load-in. Had a simple rooftop breakfast with the Kapnas brothers and a phone call home.

    We took it a bit slow today because digging through all those restock boxes was already a big workout. We restocked for two shows since tomorrow we don’t know what time we’ll arrive after the long drive to Portugal.

    We were a bit stressed before the show, trying to get everything done on time, but in the end, the food wasn’t ready anyway. They always serve us food at the merch stand every show — of course, haha.

    Michael and I are still talking about the house, and my god… it’s a mess. We called each other, and it felt good to talk after almost four months.

    We started packing during the show since we need to leave as soon as possible for the long drive to Porto. Everyone went to bed early.    Read more

    Showday 14: Porto

    After a long drive, we made it even easier than expected — also because we had a one-hour time difference in our favour.

    The load-in and load-out were tricky on a slope, so we had to secure all the leftover stock on the floor of the trailer. There weren’t many hands to help, and the walks were long.

    When we entered, we noticed there was a cute indoor market going on, so we had to be creative with the merch area. But since the show wasn’t sold out, we could use part of the hallway.

    It was a super late show, so we had plenty of time beforehand to hang out and visit the market. Unfortunately, it was raining, so I didn’t feel like going out. We finally had some good meat for catering, and the guys were watching football as usual.p

    As expected, the full merch stock had come loose and fallen in the trailer, but luckily we had secured all the audio..

    For load-out, everyone helped, and then we were off to Lisbon.

    Everyone was in such a mood, we stayed up and had some drinks. What ended up in having sangrelala from Hege and Jan Runi, a mix off all the booze with fruits..... me and Eivor we had to escape and take the Icelandic blend of electrolites & medicines to avoid hangovers.    Read more

    Showday 15: Lisbon

    October 5, 2025 in Portugal ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

    Arrived early; setup was easy. We had a nice, cute corner where we could hang the old display.

    After the killer drinks from last night, I was surprisingly fine.

    We were done early, so we had time to go out, do some grocery shopping, grab a frozen yoghurt, and check in at the hotel.

    It was a super relaxed day, but I was definitely ready for a day off.

    But of course, hotel and off-day means late-night hangouts. We ended up in Gestur’s room watching MTV 00s — lots of Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez. Slowly, everyone went to bed, and Chleo and I finally went to sleep around 4:30.    Read more

    Off-day in Lisbon

    October 6, 2025 in Portugal ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

    Since we went to bed late, we also woke up late. We missed breakfast and had to do some accounting first.

    I started right away to get it done — it took both of us about an hour of work. After that, we really needed to go out, enjoy the day, and get some food. It was already 14:00 by the time we had our late steak breakfast.

    We joined the others for some day drinking with sangria. Chloe and I went back for frozen yogurt and a bit of shopping in the neighbourhood. I had a phone call with a friend, and by the time I was done, we were having dinner at the same bar-restaurant — where we ended up drinking eight big pitchers of sangria. Everyone had such a good time, even Jaffa, our driver, who was celebrating his birthday.

    It was such a good off-day! We all went back to the hotel around 20:30, a bit tipsy, ready for some self-care and sleep — bus call is at 06:45 in the morning.    Read more

    Showday 16: Madrid

    Arriving at the sticky Madrid venue, but first buying a chuppa chop at a Spanish gazstation, must childhood memory.

    It was probably the worst show — poorly organized and with slow sales. We had the catering right next to us because there was barely any backstage space.

    Our merch was set up on the balcony since the original spot was even more complicated.

    During load-out, we experienced the full Spanish work attitude — we even got shouted at! For most of us, it wasn’t the best show to remember, unfortunately.    Read more

    Showday 17: Barcelona

    October 8, 2025 in Spain ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

    The venue today was much better, still the same promoter, but working together was easier so far.

    First I took a little walk and breakfast for myself.

    The merch area was more spacious and less sticky. Setup went quite fast, and we even had time to have dinner at the beach, which was just a 5-minute Uber ride away.

    I ordered fish, which wasn’t the best, but I really wanted to try the grilled calamari and sardines.

    On our way back to the venue, we noticed people were already inside. I was super angry at the promoter and the local crew. This was a big no-go, and no one had even talked to us about it. They opened doors 15 minutes early, and no one from our side was there.

    After load-in, which we had to do in a special way to hide the merch for the Swiss border, we went to the hotel.

    Chloe stayed in, but I went out with the rest of the crew. It turned into one of the most fun party nights, great drinks, way too spicy shots, and plenty of sangria. We even had a little water party before going to sleep.    Read more

    Off-day Barcelona

    October 9, 2025 in Spain ⋅ 🌧 22 °C

    We slept in until almost 13:30, even though the plan was to go to the beach at 12. Apparently, we really needed the sleep. our rhythm has completely shifted to these late hours now.

    We quickly got ready, checked out, and went to this amazing brunch place where everyone from the crew dropped in and out. We all ended up ordering the same thing, this group really has similar tastes.

    After brunch, we decided to do a bit of shopping for the things we’d missed — some new glitter makeup and a belt for me.

    Later, Chloe and I took an Uber to the Sagrada Família. What a beautiful place, even more stunning than I remembered from 15 years ago. So many parts are finished now!

    We had a quick drink, then went to a nice steak restaurant where we met up with Mikael and Eivor for a short but fancy dinner before bus call.

    It was pretty funny seeing some of the crew still recovering from their hangovers, haha    Read more

    Showday 18: Pratteln Switzerland

    I wasn’t woken up for the border crossing, so all went well — no taxes paid.

    Back in a milder temperature now, but still comfy. This is a venue where Heilung has played before, but both Chloé and I weren’t warriors back then.

    You can tell we’re in Switzerland everything is so well organized. Today we’re selling goods, and the merch booth looked stunning. But maybe more importantly, it’s laundry day! Finally, a venue with both a washer and a dryer. We completely invaded the place with laundry because everyone needed it.

    I lost track of time a bit and ended up running late to the merch. We sold like crazy and even did a signing, which went amazingly well too.    Read more

    Showday 19 : Vienna

    October 11, 2025 in Austria ⋅ ☁️ 17 °C

    This venue was located in a still-active brewery that also happened to have three venues. It’s a modern and very industrial area super cool!

    The backstage was rather small, and we were all cozy in one room. But we live like a family now, so no one seems to be bothered by anything anymore.

    The merch area was located outside the hall, and we had plenty of room.

    Sales were slightly slower than expected, but we can’t complain just an average day at the office.    Read more
