Every place - 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 - have their own scent. Barcelona smells like lit blunts

Took my bus to the metro station, asked for directions and I quickly got to my feminine hostel where I found out the guy at the front office comes from a city close to my place. The world seems so big, but fast it becomes really small, doesn't it?

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗰𝘁: it's 1am and I asked to my conational if it was safe for me to walk alone at night and he easily replied “oh well yeah, you will find no one around, there was a shooting 3d ago”. That was tbh fair enough to me.

Nothing seems more unreal than being in a usually crowded place and find it completely empty.
For a moment, this majestic symbol of a capital was mine, only 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦

It's poetic to me because in one of my childhood memory I used to create sand castles by dropping drops of wet sand from my fingers and they turned out like those walls. While the scaffolding resembles spider webs, I can't help but ask myself many questions

Beyond the need of black beaches, I do really need to be where everything seems easier. Latino people can really take it easy, living their life with calmness. They have this magical power: they don't chase life, they live it.
Everything seems to have slowed down here.
