Last day. Bags into storage. Out meandering.
# Park Quinta Normal
# Natural Museum (these are one of my favourite places to visit)
# Children's Museum in Casa Obrecht
# Paris Pavilion
# Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes and the faux Lourdes grotto
# Railway Museum - didn't go in, however got a few photos through the fence
# Museum of Memory and Human Rights...commemorates victims of human rights violations during military dictatorship by Pinochet. Includes Operation Condor, the USA and its CIA involvement in Chile.
It's one of those museums you need to visit.
Return home, another pisco sour, said goodbyes, and off to the airport.Baca lagi

Auckland to Christchurch

31st October - in flight

Had the minimum time between arriving in Auckland and catching the plane to Christchurch.
Had a completely different approach to all this than the usual "wait till everyone else has gone". I was organised! In a hurry, just like a Ninja...off the plane first, got to immigration, to luggage, to customs (not check luggage but asked me questions instead), through the check in koisk, to bag drop off... all done in about 20-25mins. Amazing for me!! Did help that there weren't many people about.
Off to Christchurch.
Picked up...nice to be home!Baca lagi
