    Burleigh Heads and Brisbane

    May 11, 2022 in Australia ⋅ 🌧 21 °C

We went back to the Goldcoast to check out Burleigh Heads, renowned for its great surf and fantastic restaurant. Just 10km south of Surfers Paradise but it does feel a lot smaller with a good community vibe, seemed a lot more local orientated. As usual it was raining so we had a quick look at the national park which hugs the coast, sat under a tree and watched the surfers then found a nice dry bar and drunk until dinner time.

Our last night before we fly south to Sydney and we're back in Brisbane, mainly because this is where our flight is from. Again, it's raining so we went into the centre and hit their Museums. We did a science museum where we recognised all the animals we saw in the wild or at zoos and learnt again about their giant Wombat. After that we did a modern art gallery that was interesting!

Sorry not a lot of photos this time, difficult with the rain!
