Day 25 to Ponferrada

Freezing morning! 4 degrees for the last little climb to the Cruz de Ferro...
The iron cross on tall pillar is a symbol of the challenges and hardships that people face on their journey... and probably their life. Many people leave a stone from home here - a symbol of leaving your burdens behind... what a job... to carry all the sadness and pain from people all over the world.

Rest of the day was a beautiful walk and steep downhill! With last 5km flat & boring.
