Heavy rain overnight and our pitch has turned into a mud bath. The comments about this campsite on the Search for Sites app did say this might happen.
Luckily, Sara found these boards discarded around the site and we have commandeered them so that we can get from the gazebo to the van and back fairly cleanly.
Btw, we stopped off at a Decathlon on the way here yesterday to get new camping chairs and additional thin air mattresses for the bed. These go under the Duvalay that we already have! We are both struggling a bit with comfort levels in the van and our backs aren’t great but these seem to have helped. Fingers crossed.Read more
