Hängebrücke Hohstalden

A quiet day today. Both of us have got quite stiff legs.

We borrowed a couple of the free campsite bikes this morning and popped down to the local Coop to buy something for lunch and dinner.

After lunch we caught the bus a couple of miles up the valley to cross (and the re-cross) the Hostalde Suspension Bridge, a 155m long and 37m high footbridge across the Engstlige river. We then walked back along the river.

The bridge is quite bouncy!

Big storm this evening but it cleared up quite quickly. Weather is turning though. ☹️. Moving on to France tomorrow.Read more
