Camp Senkova Domacija

Following a short walk, starting from the campsite, this morning, we drove for a couple of hours and have now crossed the border into Slovenia. The crossing point was at around 1200m and we had a lovely set of hairpin bends to negotiate getting up to it.

The campsite was listed in the Guardian as one of the best in Europe and I can see why. The views are stunning. We are here for two nights and will explore the area a bit more tomorrow - hopefully cycling and walking (and running for one of us).

We have also booked into the campsite resturant for tomorrow night - eating al fresco on a fixed menu (no choice). We are really looking forward to it.
