Munich on Sunday

After leaving Garmich, Bill drove us on to the Moxy near the Munich Airport where we will stay for Glyn and Lea’s last two nights in Europe. After checking in we drove to Erding to catch the train to downtown Munich. We disembarked right at Marienplatz Square, in the heart of Munich, Germany, where we just missed the performance of the Rathaus-Glockenspiel, which is a large mechanical clock located in that Square. From there we visited the Munich cathedral. We couldn’t take any pictures inside because it was Sunday and a service was in progress. Dinner at the Hofbrauhaus was delicious. It never disappoints. Walked back to the S-bahn and back to the Moxy.Read more
