Genoa Aibnb INFO

Our Airbnb is a historical place. Villa Milgone is a XVI century villa in the suburb of San Fruttuoso. Its claim to fame is being the site where occupying German forces surrendered to the Italian partisans on 25 April 1945. At the time, the bishop of Genova was living here as a guest since his house was destroyed by bombing. That made the Villa a “neutral” location, further helped that it was literally next door to the German Nazi HQ (which is now a library and public park).
The owner of this AirBNB was a professor of International Relations and his father was a former ambassador for Italy to several countries.
The table where the treaty, complete with replica, was signed is in one of the 10 apartments in the building. 2 are on AirBNB, 7 are long term rentals and the last one needs renovations.
This is a lucky find for us. It’s quite spacious, quite old, and has a terrace where Daisy enjoys frolicking. The host is very knowledgeable about the property and happy to share.Baca lagi
