Staying here, one hour from Split (to visit tomorrow) Saw the huge smoke from the wild fires. Great campsite smelling of the pine needle forests.
Parked up on a camper/bus park a good half hour walk from the old town. 2€ an hour. Excellent. Walked in. Found a market and had a slushy then down the sea front and the old town. Beautiful place !
Overnight close to the water before a visit to Zadar tomorrow. The most expensive site so far at 79€ ! Facilities were old and run down, but parking within the pine Forrest was very pleasant.
Arrived 11:45. Great parking spot. Over the bridge into Zadar. Great old walled town. Andrew climbed the steps for the views from the tower.
Lovely friendly little campsite. Very quite. The owner came round with his homemade plum liquor in shot glasses for everyone to sample, but at 40% is was too strong for us.
Three hour drive from our last Croatia stop off to Slovenia and the capital city. Sunday, traffic light and managed to park by the river. 10 minute walk into a splendid city centre.
It’s a car park for camper vans again. At 30€ with electric you can’t go wrong! Great location after visiting Ljubljana for a few hours.
