Final full day of the holiday

So it’s the last day of the October half term (two week) holiday. And the last full day on camping Malpertuus! Up at 9am, lovely breakfast cooked by Andrew. Then a couple of hours boxing up what was in the shed, cleaning down the lawnmower etc. Andrew popped to the little church for one last time to say a prayer and light a candle for the four of us. Finally a tea of corn beef with onions and Spanish tomato passata , mash potato made with Spanish potatoes and blue cheese.Read more

Today we leave, from the campsite for the last time. The view is lovely but not our view we remember. The trees are golden and bronze. Dew on the grass, and most important for today no rain !
Lovely dog walk. Bailey knew it was his last one and dragged his heals. Gino came at 10:10am to turn off the power and record our final meter reading.Read more

Arrived and straight through check in and passport control. Shoreside for 2:45pm booked on the 4pm crossing. We left on time, our usual chicken and chips and I save some for Bailey as guard doggie !
